How to get a Residence Permit
Foreign teachers must obtain a Residence Permit. Three steps for getting a Residence Permit
Step 1, Get a physical examination conformation report
Step 2, Get a Foreign Expert Certificate
Step 3, Get a Residence Permit
Step 1
Foreign Affairs Office will take you to Baotou Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau to apply for it. And then it will take 4-5 days to get the confirmation report.
1. Passport;
2. Two ID photos;
3. Physical Examination Record for Foreigners and the materials for supporting the examination result.
Step 2
Foreign Affairs Office will help you to get a Foreign Expert Certificate. The following materials are required:
1. Passport
2. Foreign Affairs Office will prepare for other paperwork
Step 3
Preparing the following materials and Foreign Affairs Office will take you to Baotou Public Security Bureau to apply for it.
(1) Passport and the copy of your passport page with photo;
(2) Copy of your Visa, including the stamp of admission at the frontier;
(3) One ID photo, with white background;
(4) The report of Baotou Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau;
(5) Resident permit application paper;
(6) Document from Baotou Teachers’ College;
(7) Foreign Expert Certificate and a copy;
(8)Registration form of accommodation;
(9) Fee：depending on which countries come from.
